I was not able to achieve my goal for pageloads but it's ok. Still great considering i have less posts for this month. So i'm still happy.

But the site was successful to double the number of visitors, number of countries, and followers! I'm so happy!!!

This is one of the branches of Ukay Ukay Wagwagan, they also have a branch at Makati Cinema Square.

Like their branch in Makati, Ukay Ukay Wagwagan at Pasay Rotonda have great items on sale. This branch sell mostly clothes and a few shoes and bags. This is one of my favorite shops in Pasay Rotonda becuase they lower their prices every week! and items become on sale for like 3 or 4 for Php 100.00 in just a little over a month from the date they arrived in the store! So its a constant new arrival and sale in this shop! Their clothes even go down to Php 10.00 a few days before they sell again their new arrivals.

It is also comfortable to shop here becuase it is airconditioned, and shop attendants are very friendly, unlike the ones at Makati Cinema Square.

Great choices, great shop attendants, great pricing, great shopping experience.... GREAT SHOP!

Ukay Shop 39: BOOGIE BOOGIE SHOP

Boogie Boggie Shop is our second ukay shop from Pasay Rotonda. This is also probably the biggest. The shop has 3 floors! If you are also looking for shoes and bags this is the place! The first 2 floors houses the shoes and bags and they do have a great selection for both! I observed that shoes on sale are located on the first floor and those that just arrived/ with little discount are placed on the second floor. For the ladies out there I once spotted a blue marc jacobs heels for about 100 pesos! Talk about designer bargain!!!

As for the bags, sometimes you can also spot authentic designer bags in this store, but again beware because not all bags are authentic, better do your research first.

The third floor houses the clothes colection. They have several menswear and jackets. I like this store for their great selection but I don't like the fact that its not comfortable to shop here (read: VERY HOT!), clothes are a bit pricey, and their sales are not as often as the other shops in the area.

Ukay Destination 5: PASAY ROTONDA (updated)

I know we're not yet done covering the shops in Starmall Alabang but we'll get back to that. For now I'm featuring our next ukay destination which is Pasay Rotonda. It is located, where else, in Pasay city! It is actually the intersection of EDSA and Taft Avenue. This destination has about 8 shops (I'm not sure if there are more) and most of them offer great items. Some of the shops are even airconditioned!

This place is very accessible because 2 major trains pass here, LRT 1 and MRT. If you have a car you can park at the Metropoint Mall basement parking or Infront of the Sogo Hotel if you're in the Northbound side of EDSA.

UKAY IS OKAY BUSINESS FOR OFWS AMID CRISIS

MANILA, Philippines - In these dire times, it’s okay for overseas Filipinos to invest in ‘ukay-ukay’ (rummage / surplus stores).

This was the advice of economist Federico Macaranas for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who want to go into business despite a gloomy economic climate.

“It is a nice opportunity for you in this recessionary time it would be in food, ukay-ukay, and all cheaper goods that poorer people would buy," Macaranas told GMANews.TV in an interview.

Macaranas, who is also executive director of the Asian Institute of Management Policy Center, explained that the ukay-ukay will be a hit among frugal Filipinos, especially as Christmas day draws near.
